Snowflake Obsidian necklace
This Snowflake Obsidian necklace is made from a combination of Snowflake Obsidian and Hematite.
First of all, I have used Snowflake Obsidian in smooth 10mm rounds. To complement these, I have also used Silver Hematite in a 6mm x 4mm faceted rondelle between each gemstone. Because of this, I have got the perfect combination of colour, sparkle and also movement.
The combination of the Obsidian with its black and pale grey/white snowflake markings and also the sparkle of the faceted silver of the Hematite gives a lovely texture.
Finally, I have used sterling silver fittings, including a lobster claw clasp. This gives security to my design, while at the same time making it easy to fasten.
