Lapis Lazuli pendant
This Lapis Lazuli pendant is made with natural micro-faceted Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan. This is one of the most noteworthy regions from which Lapis Lazuli is mined. Furthermore, they are the most beautiful colour of blue.
I have used 5 of the rondelles within my design. I have set these in a channel setting on the left hand side of my design.
The pendant is in one of my signature wire woven designs in sterling silver. Because of the nature of wire work, everyone of my pendants are unique.
In addition, the choice of chain that you make will also make my design your own. The effect that my design will give, will also vary due to your choice of chain.
I have taken inspiration for my designs from the Art Nouveau era, with a nod to nature. The blue of the Lapis being the floral motif, while the wire weave being the sinuous tendrils of foliage.
