Well, the Weston Park Model Air Show is over for another year. I realised that I have been doing that event for the past 7 years, it is hard to believe how that time has flown. Over the years I have met some fantastic people, it is one of those events that so many people go to every year. Spectacular displays as always, I just wish that I was able to see more of them! the ultimate in big boys toys.

I have had a few days out with Tony, so now I am having to get back down to work so that I have something new to show you all at my next two shows, The Newport Show on 14th and Alrewas Show on 21st.

Newport is one of the larger shows, set in the Chetwynd Deer Park at Newport. Lots to see and do, it is always a very entertaining show, with a good turn out.

Alrewas is one of the smaller village shows, but still well supported and entertaining.

I am waiting for confirmation for another show on 29th, I  do hope that I am accepted as it sounds as if it will be a very different day out, as soon as I hear I will let you know.

As you regulars are aware, The Artisan & Designer Fair at Buxton was cancelled earlier this month. Unfortunately I have been informed that the July event will also be cancelled. The restoration of The Octagon is still not completed, but they are saying that it is getting towards the end, so hopefully I will be their again in September. It will be a splendid venue when it is finished as it is a spectacular building, well worth the past two years in the Marquee.
