Pinolith Pendant

The Pinolith Pendant is made using a smooth pear shape of Pinolith.

Pinolith is a rare stone consisting of Howlite, Dolomite and Graphite, formed when Howlite nodules settle in layers of Graphite and Dolomite before becoming encased. It has a unique chemical makeup, first discovered in1873 in the Lower Tauern mountain range in Austria.

The pendant is wrapped in a wheat ear wrap, complementing the markings within the gemstone. Because of the nature of wire work, everyone of my pendants are unique.
