Weston Park Model Air Show 2017
Another fantastic year full of display at The Weston Park Model Air Show.
This year was the 25th Anniversary of the show, and the largest to date. As you can see from this aerial photograph, the camping sections just keep getting larger, Although the exceptional weather that we had did help. The display teams come from all over, with a large number travelling from Europe to show off their skills as Pilots.
There is a large selection of different types of models being shown, this is one of the jet plane models, but you also find classic bi-plains, military style and just fun styles. The thing that always surprises visitors on there first time is the variety of size planes that are being displayed.
In addition, there are also displays of helicopters, model boats and cars. Something for all tastes.
The displays are unforgettable, with high speed aerobatics and mock battles.
And last is my fun photograph, of what I thought was the most sticking tent that I had seen, a Volkswagen Camper Van. I gather from the owner that I wasn’t the only one that wanted to take a picture.
